Quickstart

Facturn is designed so you can be productive on real data within one sitting. This is the shortest path from signing up to a usable board.

1. Sign in

Go to the sign-in page and enter your work email. We send a magic link — no password to manage. The first time you sign in, Facturn walks you through creating a workspace.

2. Create your workspace

Pick a name (we'll suggest a slug) and a single short goal — what would you like Facturn to help you ship over the next two weeks? You can change both later.

3. Connect a source

From Settings · Connectors, link Linear, Slack, or both. The agent needs at least one source to do anything useful. Linear pulls open issues and comments; Slack pulls public channels you grant access to.

4. Review your first proposals

Within a few minutes of connecting, the agent reads the available signals and drops the first batch of proposed cards into the Proposals inbox. Each card carries a motivation, contributing signals, and a recommended tier.

For each one, you can:

• Promote — adjust title, description, and tier, then send it to the action board.
• Reject — optionally with a reason. The reason feeds the next round of proposals so the agent learns your taste.

5. Filter and ship

The action board is a flat list with filters for state, tier, source, author, and comment activity. There is no kanban; we found scrolling a filtered list beats moving sticky notes once the surface is more than a sprint long.

What about evidence?

Every card links back to its contributing signals. If you ever wonder why a card exists, click into it and you'll see the original Slack message, Linear ticket, or interview note that surfaced it.
